Deadline extended for Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers nominations

We know celebrating achievements may not be a priority at this time, so we have simplified the process

The Top 25 Most Influential in the justice system and legal profession is Canadian Lawyer's most-read feature. However, in these times of crisis, we realize celebrating achievements, apart from those that involve fighting this pandemic, may not be a priority at this time.

For that reason, we have extended the deadline for nominations and will be simplifying the process. We will accept nominations up until April 17, which you can submit here, and nominators can send more detailed information up to May 1. One sentence describing who the nominee is, is sufficient for the April 17 deadline, and you may send more details by email to me by the May 1 deadline.

While most lawyers are adjusting to a completely new working environment, and many are in crisis mode, we hope that our Top 25 Most Influential feature can provide a sense of community to highlight the accomplishments of your peers when you are more physically isolated from them.

When the final list is published in September, we expect the legal community will be in a much better position to celebrate the achievements of their peers.

Thank you for your ongoing interest in Canadian Lawyer.
