Vecima Networks appoints Heather Asher as general counsel and corporate secretary

Victoria, B.C.-headquartered Vecima Networks Inc. has appointed Heather Asher as general counsel and corporate secretary, effective April 11, 2022.

Asher, who is has established herself in legal leadership roles at growing businesses, takes responsibility for providing legal counsel across all matters related to Vecima’s commercial business, ethics and compliance, and governance.

A graduate of Harvard Law School, Asher brings nearly 15 years of experience to the role, with a focus on providing counsel and leadership to high-growth technology companies. She previously served as senior counsel and corporate secretary of Concurrent Technology, prior to its acquisition by Vecima in December 2017. She most recently served as senior associate, general counsel at Global Payments, where she advised business partners across the business technology, human resources, marketing and merchant payments businesses, and negotiated commercial and technology contracts.
