The firm has welcomed Connie Risi as an associate counsel in Vancouver. Risi specializes in disability insurance, personal injury, professional liability and regulation. She has represented healthcare professionals before regulatory colleges and the Health Professions Review Board. Her litigation experience covers commercial disputes and multi-party lawsuits. Risi was admitted to the BC bar in 1993.

Sonia Kainth has joined Clark Wilson as a partner in the firm’s family law group. Her practice encompasses cohabitation and marriage agreements, adoption and child custody, separation agreements, divorce, spousal support and entitlements, asset and debt division, parenting issues, relocation, and child support.

The firm has welcomed Junyi Chen to its growing team. Chen is a lawyer, patent agent, and trademark agent, practising patent prosecution and related advisory work.
Davies Howe LLP
The firm has promoted Alex Lusty to the partnership. Lusty practises in the areas of land development and development charges. He has advised clients on all levels of commercial, industrial, and residential land use approvals.
Dickinson Wright LLP
Griffin Peloso has joined the firm’s Toronto office as an associate. Peloso specializes in general corporate and securities law cases. He has represented clients in various transactions, including private equity and debt securities placements, public offerings, reverse takeovers, and going-public transactions. Before joining Dickinson Wright, Peloso practised at a boutique corporate and securities firm.
DLA Piper
The firm has welcomed Shea Coulson as a litigation, arbitration, and investigations group partner. Coulson’s practice covers complex business-to-business, shareholder, governance, and regulatory disputes. He has worked with clients in the forest products, mining, transportation, technology services, liquor, hospitality, and cannabis industries. He has also acted as external counsel in civil asset seizure cases before the BC Attorney General for over a decade.
DMG Advocates LLP
Kaley Pulfer has joined the firm as a partner in Toronto. Pulfer has over a decade of litigation experience, covering public law and complex commercial disputes. Her practice encompasses libel litigation and defamation matters, Charter and constitutional litigation, labour arbitrations, and employment and human rights law.

Davis has been with the firm since 2015 and specializes in Aboriginal rights litigation and Indigenous governance.

TDS has welcomed Niel Steen as an associate specializing in civil litigation. Steen has appeared and argued at all levels of the Manitoba courts. He served as a crown attorney at the Department of Justice, prosecuting all offences, including impaired driving and murder. His practice covers appellate advocacy and prosecutions in the context of criminal organizations.
