Norton Rose Fulbright appears in five-million-dollar commercial case

A lawyer of Norton Rose Fulbright represented the plaintiff in a multimillion-dollar case, while Cassels Brock & Blackwell, Dickinson Wright, Harrison Pensa, and Fogler, Rubinoff also made appearances in commercial list matters this week.

The week’s most notable commercial case was the $5-million case Aimia Inc. v Mittleman. Here, Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP associate Erika Anschuetz advised plaintiff Aimia Inc., while the defendant appeared to be unrepresented.

Anschuetz is a commercial and civil litigator focusing on contractual disputes, product liability, consumer product safety, securities litigation, and class actions. She assists individuals, businesses, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies in various disputes.

This week’s next most notable commercial case was the $924,500 case Richards et al v Jacoby et al. Here, Paul Starkman of Starkman Barristers acted for four plaintiffs.
