Welcome to this week’s roundup of movements among major law firms, in which we sum up significant hires, promotions, departures, and other announcements.

Brazeau Seller Law

The Ottawa-based law firm has welcomed Geoffrey Cullwick to the partnership. Cullwick first joined Brazeau Seller Law as an associate in 2017. His civil litigation practice encompasses construction, corporate, commercial, real estate, bankruptcy and insolvency, sports, and insurance litigation.

Clark Wilson LLP

The firm has welcomed three new associates—Adrienne Adams, Kyle Gough, and Manveer Sall. Adams has joined the firm’s private company mergers and acquisitions group and business succession group, where she will help the team assist clients with selling and acquiring privately owned companies.

Gough and Sall have joined the firm’s capital markets, securities, mergers, and acquisitions group. Gough will help the team assist clients with financing and transaction services, while Sall’s practice will focus on financings, public offerings, related transactions, and documentation.

Dentons Canada

Dentons Canada has boosted its real estate practice with three new hires in its municipal, land use, planning and development law group. The firm has welcomed counsel Isaiah Banach and associates Kevin Pirak and Jessica Jakubowski.

Fillmore Riley LLP

Julia Ryckman has joined Fillmore Riley as an associate. She specializes in intellectual property and civil litigation.

Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP

Gowling WLG has announced the appointment of Leigh-Ann Ing as the firm’s first head of wellness. Ing has over 20 years of experience in organizational wellness and productivity. She served as director of global wellness and benefits strategy at OMERS. Before that, she held progressively senior wellness and benefits consulting roles, working with national and global employers in various industries.
